Method-Man, Paul Wall, Styles P, Flee Lord, UFO Fev barely, scratch the surface of the artists he's worked with throughout the course of his career: At the root of everything Melks does is community, he provides the platform for artists to hop on and show the universe what they're capable of over the type of production that fits them.
Melks has hosted the “Bar Out” series for years now giving artists the space to wax poetic over his prolific production. Melks is taking that idea to the next level by releasing four EPs with a different artist at the forefront and Melks' sounds catered specifically to their style.
OktoBARfest is Melks '‘Bar Out’' series coming to full fruition this time releasing a five-track EP with each artist. In Season 1 of OktoBARfest we're getting projects from Navi, Gramz, KEL & Tizy in that order. It's a proper showcase for everyone involved where the artists get the chance to be themselves while simultaneously crafting over production suited perfectly to what they're good at.
RAW is a gritty, unfiltered collaborative EP from Navi & Melks that leans into real-life storytelling, hunger, and underground energy. The project feels stripped down and authentic—minimal polish, heavy emotion, and raw lyricism at the forefront. Sonically, it blends hard drums with moody melodies, creating a street-focused but introspective vibe. Overall, RAW captures the early-stage grind mentality—honest, intense, and unapologetic.
The Big Play EP by Gramz VanGundy & Melks is a 5-track hip-hop/rap project released in October 2025.
